This project was to overboard a lathe and plaster ceiling in fishponds, the ceiling had a few damaged areas, so the best option for this was to overboard with 12.5mm plasterboard.
We then put Skrim tape over ever joint to stop the joints from cracking.
2 coats of finishing plaster was then applied to make the ceiling flat ready for painting
Not all ceilings need boarding over and we can sometimes get over it with Pva to seal it then plastered
please get in touch with your requirements but remember if you have artex get it tested first for asbestos
